Angela holds a Master's degree in Counseling from Northwest Christian College, and has served as an instructor of college courses. She completed her internship at Umpqua Community College, specializing in career counseling and academic advising.  In her spare time, she enjoys music, travel, outdoor recreation, college sports, and quilting.  Angela brings the Board strong organizational skills and a passion for personal and professional development.

Dan has 30 years in workforce development and career planning.  He has a B.S. in Pre-med from Loyola University and a M.S. in Education from Western Oregon University with a focus in rehabilitation counseling.  Over the years he has been involved in workforce and community development.  He is currently a Counselor/Instructor with Chemeketa Community College and an online Instructor for Linn Benton Community College serving Lane Community College students.  Dan is passionate in facilitating students to attain meaningful lives and careers.  He promotes the development of purposeful life plans based on an objective understanding of personal strengths as they relate to researchable career trends.

Matt is a Career Counselor with professional interests in the areas of career transitions, coaching, and personal development.  Since 2005, Matt has worked with mid-life professionals in career transition through Pathways/OI Partners a talent management and leadership solutions firm that specializes in career transition (outplacement), executive coaching, and leadership development.  Matt maintains a part time private practice, and has taught career development courses at Clark College, Portland State University, and Portland Community College. Matt holds an MS in Counseling from Portland State University, a BA in Business Administration from Washington State University, and has completed a post-graduate certificate in Human Resource Management. In addition to his counseling experience, Matt owns and operates MRE Media, LLC, a website design and electronic publishing company that specializes in websites for small business and individuals.

Anne is the Career Development Coordinator and a career counselor at Oregon State University in Corvallis.  Anne received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri as well.  Her passion is working with college students, graduate students, and alumni, and she loves working in the university environment.  She enjoys counseling and teaching, as well as supervising career counseling students.  She is passionate about mentorship and professional development.  Anne’s scholarly work focuses on the perceived career options of young adults, and how these are impacted by various demographic variables—especially social class background.  Anne is new to the Northwest, and loves the outdoors and all the yummy fresh food.

Christine is a Career Counselor at Washington State University Vancouver.  She provides counseling to current students and alumni for all career related issues.  On campus she also teaches a career course, leads workshops and coordinates events with employers.  Christine has experience in both mental health counseling and career counseling and has previously worked at the University of Cincinnati, Excelsior Youth Center and the University of Denver.  She is a licensed professional counselor and has a B.A. in psychology from Linfield College and an M.A. in mental health counseling from the University of Cincinnati.

Andrea has been working in the field of career counseling since 1999.  Having earned a M.S. in Counseling with honors from San Francisco State University (specializing in Career and College Counseling), she has a private practice, worked for various colleges and universities, as well as a one stop career center and health care company.  Originally from the S.F. Bay Area, Andrea has lived in the Portland metro region for over 7 years.

Margie currently works for Right Management as a Career Management Consultant where she does outplacement consulting.  She has a BA in Sociology and MA in Counseling, specializing in Career Development both from the University of San Diego. She grew up in San Diego where she worked for many years as a HR Business Partner/ Generalist for companies such as Qualcomm,Sony and Ericsson.  Margie also lived in Sweden for 2.5 years where she worked as a Trainer for business English and cross cultural training.

Sydney Johnston is an educator and administrator who enjoys working with people.  She brings a passion for education, particularly higher education, and entered the field of career development after obtaining her Master’s degree from Oregon State University.  Sydney completed internships at Saving Grace, a center for victims of domestic violence, and the Women’s Resource Center of Central Oregon, both of which contributed to her understanding of individuals in crisis and transition.  Currently, Sydney serves in a career counseling position at Pioneer Pacific College, where she works with adult learners to make important career changes and advancements for a more secure and fulfilling life.
