The Oregon Career Development Association (OCDA) is the Oregon division of the National Career Development Association (NCDA) and a division of the Oregon Counseling Association.

OCDA supports the professional development of career practitioners, and promotes standards for career counseling and the evaluation of career information materials.
Each year, OCDA actively pursues its goal to promote quality career development in Oregon:

- Scholarships for professional development.
- Supporting and developing professional and ethical standards in career services.
- Networking events and Industry Tours.
- Partnering with other organizations to promote career development

Our Mission
Create a partnership among career development practitioners from business/industry, elementary/secondary schools, colleges, public and private agencies, and private practices, and to establish and improve the standards of professional service in the field of career development in Oregon.
In addition, OCDA will endeavor to:
- Promote a greater understanding of the meaning of work and career.
- Foster career development over the life span.
- Encourage the establishment of innovative and responsive career development and career counseling services in Oregon communities.
- Gather and disseminate information regarding career development, guidance, and occupational information.
- Stimulate the improvement of career services, including assessment, guidance, and dissemination of occupational information and job search resources.
- Promote high standards and principles of career development / career counseling.
- Foster educational exchange and professional growth among those interested in career development / career counseling.
- Carry on activities for the promotion and advancement of career development / career counseling.
